 Who We Are

Harper Telehealth (“Harper,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Hugh & Hamner LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. Harper is a pre-launch platform building HSV-focused health information, education, and care resources at harpertelehealth.com (the “Site”). Questions about this Policy?
Email us at privacy@harpertelehealth.com.

Scope of This Policy

This Policy covers the personal information we collect through our waitlist signup form and through analytics tools used on this Site. This Site is currently directed at residents of the United States only. If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, Canada, or another jurisdiction with separate data protection laws, please do not submit information through our waitlist form at this time.

What We Collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address and name. We do not collect your date of birth, mailing address, or payment information.

A note on sensitive context: Harper is an HSV-focused platform. We recognize that joining our waitlist may reflect a personal health interest, and we take that seriously. We do not use your email address to infer, record, or share any health information about you. Your email address is stored and used as an email address — nothing more.

How We Collect It

Your email address and name are collected through our waitlist form, which runs on Contact Form 7 and Flamingo — two WordPress plugins. Your submission is saved to our WordPress site database hosted by Bluehost. Your email address and form submission are not shared with Google or any other analytics provider. We also collect limited, non-identifying information about how visitors use the Site through Google Analytics. This is described in the Analytics section below.

Analytics, Cookies, and Your Choices

Harper uses Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this Site — which pages are visited, how visitors navigate, and where people come from. This helps us improve the Site over time. We do not use this data to target ads to you, and we do not sell your personal information.

What Google Analytics collects (non-exhaustive):

  • Pages you visit and time spent on each
  • General location (country and city — not your address)
  • Device type and browser
  • How you arrived at the Site (search engine, direct link, referral)

What it does not collect: information you enter into our contact or waitlist form. Form submissions are handled separately and are not shared with Google.

Cookies

Our Site uses cookies — small text files stored in your browser — to support analytics. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. These cookies do not identify you by name or email. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect how some features of the Site function.

Your Opt-out Options

You have three ways to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visit:

  • Google’s official opt-out add-on. Google offers a free browser extension that blocks Google Analytics across every website you visit. It is available for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Global Privacy Control. Browsers like Firefox and Brave include a Global Privacy Control (GPC) setting that automatically signals your preference not to have your data shared. Harper honors this signal — no additional steps needed.
  • Browser privacy settings. Most browsers include built-in tracking protection under Settings or Privacy. Enabling enhanced tracking protection or blocking third-party cookies limits what analytics tools can collect.

Opting out prevents future data collection in that browser. It does not affect information already collected and applies per device — opting out on one device does not apply to others.

California residents: Under California law, you have the right to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for analytics purposes. The options above fully satisfy this right. See also “Your Rights and Choices below.”

Why We Collect It

We use your email address and name for two purposes:

  • Waitlist communications. To let you know when Harper launches, what to expect, and how to access any priority benefits you’re entitled to as a waitlist member.
  • Future marketing. We may send you marketing materials, educational content, and updates about Harper. Every marketing email will include a clear, one-click unsubscribe link. We will honor all opt-out requests promptly

We will never:

  • Sell, rent, or trade your email address to third parties
  • Use it to send third-party advertising
  • Use it to make or share inferences about your health

How We Store Your Data

Your name and email address are stored in our WordPress database on servers managed by Bluehost. We protect it using:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
  • Access controls limiting who can view form submissions
  • Routine security and software updates to our hosting environment.

No method of internet transmission is 100% secure, but we use industry-standard practices to protect your data.

How Long We Keep It

We keep your email address until you ask us to remove it, or until it is no longer needed for the purposes described above. When deleted, your email address is removed from our live database. It may persist temporarily in system backups, which are purged on a regular schedule.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address. We do not share your email address with any third parties for marketing, advertising, or analytics purposes.

We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic. This involves sharing device and browsing data —not your email address or form submission — with Google. See the Analytics, Cookies, and Your Choices section above for details and opt-out options.

The limited exceptions to our data handling are:

  • Our web hosting provider (Bluehost) stores the database as part of running our website. They have no independent access to or use of your data.
  • Legal compliance. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or government authority.

Important: When we select an email marketing platform in the future, we will update this Policy to name that provider and describe the data transfer before we move any email addresses to their systems.

Your Rights and Choices

Unsubscribe: Every marketing email we send will contain an unsubscribe link. You can also email privacy@harpertelehealth.com to opt out at any time.

Request deletion: Email privacy@harpertelehealth.com with the subject line “Delete My Data” and we will remove your email address within 30 days.

Request access: You may ask us to confirm whether we hold your email address and what we have on file.

Opt out of analytics: See the Analytics, Cookies, and Your Choices section above for options to stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits.

California residents: In addition to the rights above, California law gives you the right to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Harper does not sell your personal information. To opt out of analytics data sharing, use the options described in the Analytics section above.

Children’s Privacy

This Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted their email through our form, contact us at privacy@harpertelehealth.com and we will delete it immediately.

HIPAA Notice

Harper is currently in development and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical consultations. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity at this time. When Harper launches clinical services, a separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices will apply to any protected health information collected at that time. This Policy covers waitlist and site analytics data only.

Changes To This Policy

We will update this Policy when our practices change — particularly before adding an email marketing platform, launching clinical services, or making changes to how we use analytics. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date above.
